Socios is a method based on learning tasks and is designed for students in academic technical education and vocational secondary and higher education students. In these courses, mastering a foreign language is an integral part of professional skills.

Each manual is structured as follows:

• Activities of production to achieve the final task.
• Free production activities that integrate the different contents of the unit.
• Texts and activities on aspects of the workplace covered in the unit.
• Specific grammatical and transcription of oral understandings of the book.

The workbooks contain an audio CD and can consolidate and deepen the skills of language activities discussed in the book of the student. They facilitate the independent work through the evaluation of language skills (see "Comprueba tu conocimientos") as part of a process of personal learning. Each unit includes, in addition, an activity in which are worked in particular aspects of phonetics and pronunciation.
